About the college
The Discovery Educational & Welfare Society (DIP) is a self-financing Polytechnic College, was established in 2012, offering 3-years Diploma course in various fields of ngineering.It is approved by AICTE & affiliated to WBSCTE. More over in the present system. Experienced teachers using modern teaching aids deliver lectures to the students. Fully equipped laboratories and workshops have been provided in the field of practical classes. Sufficient qualified Teachers / Instructors / Laboratory Assistants have been engaged in this polytechnic college.Special attention has been given to the weaker students and tutorial classes are being held regularly.

Mr. Prosenjit MondolTechnical education has gained paramount importance in this globalized world.Discovery Educational & Welfare Society,Narasinghapur, Murshidabad was established in 2012. Our motto has been to impart quality technical education through learner centered Teaching. In our college emphasis is given on practical knowledge through industrial visits, expert talks etc. Placement of needy students is what we focus on. Many reputed companies have visited our campus. Various curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities are organized to boost confidence of rural and meritorious students. At the same time they inspire unsuccessful students through remedial teaching and always try to grow interest for learning.

Mr. Himadri Nath MoulickIndia is witnessing the age of science and technology. There is huge demand for technical education in modern age. The pattern of life evolving in this age is very much different from the one we would find in our society even some fifty years back. Technical Education imparts knowledge of specific trade, craft or profession. In Discovery Educational & Welfare Society,we are trying to give our students best education and environment to make them one of the finest.Besides this, in this age of unemployment, only technical education can assure one of a job and a comfortable living. Those who are still in the conventional institutions, passing examination that have little relevance in the modern systems, find no opportunities of employment. And, quite naturally, they are victims of frustration and find themselves alienated from the mainstream of modern world.
Training And Placement
Discovery Educational & Welfare Society (DIP) has an Excellent Traning & Placement Department. It has arrenged soft skill traning from the very beging of first year and other vocational traning, technical traning and industry visit from second year. Beside it has arranged soft skill traning in association with the big corporate traning placement consultant houses like NICCO VENTURES LTD., Kolkata and IIBM Kolkata. Experienced professional from industries train our Diploma level students to make them technicaly ready for the industry. We can assure that we have the quality to provide opportunities for arranging placement facilities but we can not give assurance, as normal, to provide job guarantee.
